OLED flexible screen splicing large screen display technology is hailed as the next generation of large screen display technology, and it is likely to become another generation of display technology after replacing plasma screens with LCD screens. At present, OLED technology has been widely used in household television devices, smartphones and other fields, and its softer and more flexible characteristics have made it widely praised. In the field of splicing large screen displays, due to the majority of usage scenarios such as security monitoring and conference rooms, the market still mainly relies on LCD splicing screens or LED displays. However, in recent years, with the increasing demand for personalized display by users, the market for flexible splicing of large screen displays has become increasingly large, especially in the field of intelligent exhibition halls, which mainly focus on exhibition displays. OLED flexible screen splicing is also gradually being used, and its technical characteristics are as follows:
1. Flexible splicing
The biggest difference between OLED technology and liquid crystal technology is that its panel is soft and flexible, so it can be arbitrarily spliced into arcs, circles, waves, etc., instead of relying solely on installation methods like liquid crystal to form an arc effect. It can achieve arc splicing with a single screen, mainly because it is composed of multi-layer organic molecular films, rather than hard materials such as light guide plates.
2. Ultrathin
Due to the use of semiconductors and electrically driven luminescence in OLED flexible screen splicing technology, the internal structure does not have a liquid crystal layer, so its thickness is very thin, only about 3 millimeters, and its weight is also very light, just over 2 kilograms, which can be said to be very light and thin.
3. Softer visuals
Due to the use of self luminescent technology in OLED, it does not require an LED backlight board like liquid crystals, so it does not have light leakage and the natural display image is more natural and soft.
In addition to the three outstanding advantages mentioned above, OLED flexible screen splicing, like LCD splicing screens, still maintains a resolution of 1920 * 1080, ensuring its clarity, and its brightness, contrast, and other advantages are still very good. Of course, OLED flexible screens still have 3.9mm sized seams when splicing, but it is not formed by splicing, but by overlaying the screen with the screen.
